Oddly enough, after the reunion of The Slits and Os Mutantes last week, the internet seems to be abuzz with rumors of a reunion of legendary alternative rock band The Replacements. The Minneapolis, Minnesota band, with Josh Freese sitting in for Chris Mars on drums is said to be recording some new songs for an upcoming Rhino box set.
The band have been broken up for 15 years.
