In an attempt to save time, we offer the Mammoth Press Frequently Asked Question page. In these pages, you'll find all the answers to the most common questions asked by Mammoth visitors (bands, labels, readers, want to be writers, and PR folk). Please read this before you send an email.

Answers -

1. Will you review my band's CD?
We'd love to review your band's CD. We accept material from local, international, signed, and unsigned bands. We cannot promise that a review will be posted, but we WILL listen to it and at the very least tell you what we think of it.

2. We only pressed our release on (insert format here), can you review that?
CDs? Yes, of course. Vinyl? We LOVE vinyl. Cassette? Umm, we’d prefer not. 8-Track? NO! MP3? We’ll listen, but we cannot review it. DVDs? Uh huh. DVDs are dreamy.

3. I sent you review material, why isn't there a review up on the page yet?
We cannot promise that we can review your release, we will most certainly try and review it… but we get more submissions in a week that we can review in two weeks. Email us; we’ll let you know what’s up. We most likely haven’t gotten to it yet though.

4. Are you looking for reviewers/reporters/interviewers/etc?
We are ALWAYS looking for talented writers and industrious reporters. Send an email to someone at Mammoth Press and talk to us.

5. Why do you have ads on your page? You’re a sellout! You're only in it for the money.
HA! That's not even a question!!! Wait, what money? Our ads help us pay for our server, printing of promotional materials, tapes for video, sometimes travel, tours, advertising, etc… Nobody at Mammoth Press is paid. Some of us contribute our own hard earned dollar to keep this page up and running.

6. Why isn't their a CD review of my band? I sent you a CD.
Maybe it's in the works, maybe it's in the mail... we recieve so many CDs that it's almost impossible to keep track of them all; but we do. Each CD is listen to, if a review is posted or not. There is just too much music out there, and sometimes it's hard to review something that we can't really find anything worth while to say about it. Unsigned or signed, it doesn't matter... we simply cannot get to everything that is sent to us. Your best bet would be to email us and talk to us... we're more likely to review something for someone who talks with us and is nice to us. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS... we would love to cover everything we get, but there isn't enough room on the site and time in the day to make that happen.
7. Will you come to my band's show?
Maybe.

8. What type of music do you cover?
Good Music.
